Fighting Cancer, Creating Memories

Join us July 16, 2011 for an All-Day Crop

2011 Stars Stripes and Survivors July 16, 2011

We are so excited for our next Cropping for Cancer all-day Crop!

Every month a group of volunteers with Cropping for Cancer gather to put together a scrapbook for a cancer patient in southern Nevada.  Preparing a scrapbook full of mementos is one way to leave a legacy for someone you know who is struggling with cancer.  Preparing the scrapbook for that person while he or she is fighting the fight is a lovely way to show that person you care. If the struggle is not successful, nothing is more important to the family than having the good memories of their loved one preserved.  You may join the team of volunteers or simply sponsor the personal mementos for the use of the team.  You can sponsor a Leaving a Legacy scrapbook for only $35. Or nominate a Leaving a Legacy recipient.

Leaving a Legacy Program

Leaving a Legacy creates scrapbooks for loved ones.

Come out and show your support by honoring or remembering a loved one at this year’s Cropping for Cancer event, Stars Stripes and Survivors on July 16, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada from 9am to 8pm. Whether you want to scrapbook, make cards, quilt, craft, or chat you will have a lovely day creating treasured memories.

Along with supporting a great cause we are going to have so much fun at the crop! Each participant will receive their own crafting area, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages provided throughout the day as well as classes and give-a-ways. Lunch provided by Pat and Kim Mervine of the San Francisco Style Sourdough Eatery.

With your registration, you will receive one raffle ticket and additional raffle tickets will be available for awesome prizes worth over $700! Each participant will also received a goodie bag.  There will also be a free beginning scrapbooking class and card making class on site available. Registration is $50.
